Baptisms
We are delighted at Holy Trinity to receive enquiries for Baptism of babies, children and adults. However, Baptism is not right for everyone and whether we believe we have been a Christian for a long or short time, it is an important step which we would like to discuss with you. It is best not to arrange dates until we have. Please contact our church office for further details and to arrange an appointment.
Weddings
Congratulations! If you are interested in getting married at Holy Trinity, we would love to discuss this with you. There are some legal requirements which need to be fulfilled e.g. whether you live within the parish or have an historical connection with Holy Trinity. It certainly does not need to be expensive! Please contact our church office for further details. office@hteastbourne.org.uk
Consistent with our stated ethos as a church, shaped by the teaching of Jesus in Bible and summarised by anglican doctrine, we understand marriage to mean the union of one man to one woman for life.
Funerals
A funeral is often a sad time as we say goodbye to someone we love and usually an important opportunity for family and friends to give thanks to God for the life of the deceased.
The first step is for the Next of Kin (e.g. husband, wife, son, daughter) to contact a local funeral director who will call us to make the necessary arrangements. They won't automatically ask if you would like to involve a church or a Christian minister. Whether or not it is Holy Trinity, we would strongly encourage you to do so. A meeting with the Undertaker would normally be followed by a meeting with the Vicar/minister of the church to discuss the individual requirements for the service. If you would like to involve Holy Trinity please contact our church office
